Crosmix Update: Smarter Routing and Clearer Fee Previews
· Product update
It has been a busy few weeks on the Crosmix team, and we want to share what has changed behind the interface. Our goal has always been simple: make moving tokens between networks feel as straightforward as a normal swap. This update brings us closer.
Smarter routing
Crosmix now compares several possible paths for each transfer and picks the one that balances cost and speed. Previously, routing leaned heavily on a single liquidity source. The new approach checks alternatives in the background, so if one path becomes congested or expensive, your swap is steered elsewhere automatically. You can still switch smart routing off in settings if you prefer to keep things manual.
Clearer fee previews
A common complaint from early testers was that fees were hard to read. We rebuilt the preview panel so that the rate, minimum received, estimated time, and network fee all sit together in one place. Minimum received updates the moment you change your slippage setting, which makes it easier to understand the worst-case outcome before you confirm.
Settings you can trust
We also tidied up the settings dialog. Slippage can be set to Auto, chosen from a preset, or typed in as a custom value, and the app warns you if the number is unusually low or high. Your deadline and speed preferences are remembered on your device, so you do not have to set them again each visit.
Quality and stability
Under the hood we fixed several rounding issues in amount formatting, improved how the app recovers when a price source is slow, and reduced the time it takes the interface to feel responsive on mobile. None of this is glamorous, but it is the kind of work that makes a tool feel reliable day after day.
What is next
Next on our list are broader network coverage and improved status tracking for transfers in progress. We will share more as soon as it is ready. As always, feedback is welcome at hello@crosmix.com, and every message is read by a real person on the team.
